Airblaster - December Snowboard Movie Soundtrack

DECEMBER is now available for purchase on myairblaster.com. December is a snowboard comedy created by Airblaster. The masterminds over at Airblaster have always felt that something is missing from snowboard videos. Airblaster decided to take a step away from the norm, go against the grain and produce a new film that includes snowboarding and so much more.
During December of 2004 Travis Parker, Andrew Crawford, cinametographer Jake Price (robot food) and photographer Espen Lystad traveled the landscape of Eastern Europe in search of places to shred. With them they brought snowboards, clothing, cameras, boots, pistachios, good attitudes, a killer van and of course there was not a snowmobile in sight. The point of the trip was to ride whatever was around. They carried with them no set agenda and the only goals of the trip include having fun and documenting the experience. The result is a Movie that shows viewers what it is like to shred day in and day out. It dives into the type of snowboarding we are all familiar which is snowboarding on whatever hill, mountain or backyard you have access to.
December is about 53 minuets in length and was filmed on 16mm film, digital video and super 8. Each video includes a variety of bonus features for your entertainment needs. Also included in each purchase is a piece of artwork by Corey Smith (coreysmithart.com) Corey is a local Portland based pro snowboarder/artist. Corey has done a variety of graphics for companies such as Capita, Grenade and Coal. Each December box is made of wood and has Corey's art screened on the front. When you buy December you not only get a piece of snowboard film history but also a ready to hang piece of artwork.
